Travel Details

Please note if you are traveling from overseas, your passport must be valid within at least 6 months of your return date. You will also be required to submit an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA Link) if you are American before you travel and will be valid for 12 months. Nothing is required for British Travellers.

If you are traveling from overseas, please note the time difference in Australia across the International Date Line. If you are travelling from America, you need to travel at least 2 days in advance of the wedding date (depart 16 April, 2025).

If you are Traveling from America, we recommend checking Google Flights for flight deals. From any major hub in the US (LA, SF, Dallas, NYC, Chicago, Seattle) there are currently flight sales for around $800 round-trip. If you miss the sale, on most occasions, it is most economical to take a domestic flight to LAX (a hub) and book your round trip tickets from LAX rather than your local destination. Fiji Air and United Airlines and sometimes American, Delta or Qantas are typically cheaper. Around $800 or $900 round-trip.

If taking an extended stay and wanting to explore another city (Sydney recommended), it may be more cost effective to book round trip tickets to Sydney and take a separate domestic flight to Brisbane for the wedding. The flight is only an hour.

A note to remember, there is NO tipping in Australia and all prices are inclusive of tax, so what the price advertised is/ on the bill, it the total price. Also note that the Australian Dollar is relatively low compared to the US dollar or British pound. So yay for that!

We recommend you book your accommodation as soon as you book your flights, or before. Much of the accommodation is free cancellation and payment upon arrival. It is Easter weekend, so we do not want you to miss out.
